Our amazing Brooks is five years old! He has been so excited about this birthday! And the really cool thing is that the Lord brought Brooks to a place of "BIG BOY STATUS" just in time for Kervens to come home. It has been unbelievable to watch the Lord's timing. A few weeks prior to Kervens' arrival, Brooks began to talk about being a big boy and not a baby anymore. He wants to be held less (thank goodness, as I am holding Kervens 24/7!), he wants to hang with his big brother and sister more, and he is much more independent.
He is the most pleasant, easy-going, grateful, athletic, tender-hearted young man! We enjoy you so much, little man!

So thankful we get to celebrate Brooks' birthday as a family. Whole. Complete. |
