Go LOOKOUTS!

It's baseball season, that is for sure.  Every baseball mom knows what I am talking about.  Baseball can consume and fill your summer like no other sport.  But somehow...it's fun!  Eddy is one of the coaches for the Lookout Mountain 7/8 year old all-stars.  This is still the sweet coach pitch league, and Eddy is the pitcher.  I get more nervous for him than I do for Jackson!  It is a tough job!  And all the parents are so understanding about that.
So, we played the district championship tournament last weekend.  We lost our first game to Signal Mountain, so we had to play through the losers' bracket.  On the final night of the tournament, we had to face Signal Mountain again.  And, since they beat us in the first round, we had to beat them twice, in back to back games, to win the tournament.  And we DID IT!  Jackson played great.  And Eddy pitched VERY well!

Of course I can take no credit for this adorable shirt...another Shelley-ism. =)

The District Champions!

We are so grateful for some phenomenal coaches.  They keep it fun and up-beat, like it should be!

DA BOYZ

Some great family memories!
So, off to the State tournament we go.  It is in Rockwood, TN... the middle of no-where.  Should be fun!
